The Fall of Single Feather...
I was busy for a week, and I am too lazy to post yesterday.
Ahem. Currently playing Harvest Moon. A very weird game by my standards. >_> Its a farming game.
I went to my aunt's/mum's place to stay for a week. I managed to finish up the MCQ section of the JJ series, and am pretty happy about it. I went out with my cousin and mum for dinner several times, and I learn something about teachers from my cousin.
My cousin, is a teacher in Nanyang Primary School. Shes going to Hong Kong next year to teach in the international school there, but thats not the point. Anyway, she told me some stuff about teachers.
Firstly, their sad. Not in the case that they are crazy, but they are pitiful. My mum was reading an article, on the teacher who stole something. Apparently, the teacher used "stress" as an excuse. Therefore, she asked my cousin whether its true.
She said that being a teacher is very stressful. She gave me several incidents, where the teachers cried, and simply hid under their table, not willing to go to that bloody class for lesson, saying that the students in the class are naughty. Now, most of you should feel that this teacher is just weak, or simply not fearful enough. However, my cousin gave me another point.
The teachers in her school had the term "chalet". This "chalet" is located in Sembawang. This is not somewhere to have fun though. Its a place for the people who are mentally sick. From what she told me, most of the people in the "chalet" are actually teachers. Students are something scary... Something... terrifying. Now we know why some teachers simply have to be scary.
And of course, she told me indirectly, that teachers are well paid. ^_^
