The Fall of Single Feather...

Legend.

Michael Jackson is a real Legend now.

Even after counting in his debts, he is still the most expensive singer in the world. The one with the most value.

Besides, as all artistes do, he is going to earn the real money after he is dead.

I mean now.

Now.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Determination

Long time ago, Leon told me to watch Hajime no Ippo, a boxing manga.

I didn't want to.

Eventually, I started on it, cause I had nothing to do. And, eventually I got hooked.

It is one of the things that made me enjoy fighting, or even want to fight. It's the contact, the adrenaline, and somewhat, the pain that makes it all so enjoyable.

Then again, it's one of the things that you have to experience yourself to understand.

However, if there was one thing that Hajime no Ippo taught me, it is the determination to carry on, to surpass your limits. At this point of time, my brother in law would say, I don't know my limits.

I would say I do, but, is it really my limit?

One of the reasons that I train so damn hard is so that I will get a chance to fight. So that I will get a chance to experience a good fight. So that I will get a chance to throw every damn thing that I can do on my opponent, and he can throw everything on me as well. So that I will get a chance to never say die.

That feeling would be awesome.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Electrocution

Back during the Xbox era, I didn't have an adapter for the television cables. Thus, I had to keep on changing the plug for the SCV to the Xbox plug if I wanted to play.

The thing is, there was a stacked stool looking wooden chair in front of the plugs.

It made it god damn difficult to change the plugs.

Hence, there was many a times when I was shocked.

It came to a point where I'm used to it, but of course, I felt something.

Besides, it was nothing from what I felt two days ago.

As those of you who know about my left leg, I went to the Chinese doctor to get it back working again.

The first visit was normal, other than the fact that I wasn't warned about the details of the treatment.

The second visit was shit.

Once I saw the doctor, he checked the area of the injury and he asked me if I was afraid of needles.

After I laid on the bed and he stabbed three needles on to some parts of my leg, he proceeded to tell me,"我要放电。".

That pretty much sums it up.

My feet was like twitching.

O_o.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Ouch.

Mah legs.

Mah left leg.

Mah left shin.

The Chinese Physician took a good look on my leg.

After that, he did what he called a massage.

...

He called it a massage.

I don't.

After that, he used the round bottle things that has to be heated with fire a little. I was lying face down, so I could only see the light from the fire tray of stuff.

It was shitz.

Now my leg is bandaged up like an apple.

You know the white criss cross styrofoam thing?

Something like that.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Time

One of the songs that I've listened to since I was young is "Hotel California by The Eagles".

My uncle has been playing it time and time again.

Luckily, its kind of awesome.

Hotel california - Eagle

On a dark desert highway
Cool wind in my hair
The warm smell of colitas
Rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance
I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night

There she stood in the doorway
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself
This could be heaven or this could be hell
Then she lit up a candle
And she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor
I thought I heard them say

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place, such a lovely face
There's plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year, you can find it here

Her mind is definitely twisted
She's got her Mercedes Benz
She's got a lotta pretty, pretty boys
That she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard
Sweet summer sweat
Some dance to remember
Some dance to forget

So I called up the captain
Please bring me my wine
He said "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969"
And still those voices they're calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place, such a lovely face
They're livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise, bring your alibis

Mirrors on the ceilling, the pink champaign on ice
And she said "We are all just prisoners here of our own device"
In the masters chambers they're gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knifes but they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was runnin' for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
"Good night" said the night man "We are programmed to receive
You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave"

The Fall of Single Feather...

Endure.

One of the reasons for a 2.4km run in the NAPFA test is to gauge the amount of oxygen, someone can take in with each breathe. The more you can take, the more oxygen you muscles get, the faster you can run, the lesser latic acid you will receive.

However, there are other factors too. Things like the shoe you are wearing, the type of shirt, your breathing technique, or you mental endurance to simply not stop.

Stoping, or halting in the midst of a run causes your muscles to relax, and that makes it harder to contract and work as well when you run again later. Thus, it is high discouraged to stop when running long distances.

However, if you think of it along these lines, won't it be the same for other activites?

If you are skipping, it makes it hard to continue again once you stopped. Losing the rhythm, legs feeling tired all of a sudden.

If you are doing homework, and your friend comes over to talk to you, causing you to halt momentarily. Won't you lose the mood to work?

Fortunately or Unfortunatey, Muay Thai training introduces a whole new level of Mental Endurance.

Who, in the hell, has the right mind to ask you to bunny hop across the badminton court length-wise, for 3 laps? You can't stop too. Else, you will feel so dam frigging tired to continue.

...

God. It was fun.

Singing

On the spot.

Mr. Wayne is good at that.

I like it when he sings. It's funny, fast, quick, interesting, and it doesn't sound all that bad either.

Time

Flies different at different times.

When its a happy moment, it flies like the Speed Racer.

When its a tiring moment, it crawls like some kiddos.

However, there are times when it is just simply short for the literal reason; not much time is spent.

Either way, it's going to be a long night. Or a really short one.

Really depends on the way you look at it.
