The Fall of Single Feather...

L4D

Leon, my sister's boyfriend and I were playing L4D earlier.

In L4D, there is this red cars, that will ring if you shoot it. A car alarm. Doing so will cause hordes of zombies to LEROY JENKINS towards the survivors(us).

Hence, Leon accidentally shot the car. The zombies came, we shot them, somehow survived, and stuff. After the horde was slaughtered, they proceeded into the safe room(checkpoint thingy).

Then, I said,"Eh, Leon. The car will ring for a second time a not?"

"Dunno. Try lor."

After they retreated into the safe room, I ran out, and shot the car.

Suddenly, on cue, Leon released a Jia Hao Sec 2 Lvl of Frequency of,"WEE WEE WEE WEE WEE" continously.

Laughed my shit off man.

Lol.

Run.

For your life.

Its something like Leroy Jerkins, where when gaming, someone rush into a place without caring what happens or anything like that.

This little fact can be applied to Lord of the Rings, where someone, cannot simply Leroy Jerkins in.

Then again, ever watched Man V.S. Wild?

You know, Bear Grylls?

The Fall of Single Feather...

Unique.

I've been feeling sort of... different, lately.

It's not that I'm growing up or anything like that.

It's just that... normally, at this time of the year, I would be feeling... sad. In total despair and disappointment.

Unlike the last 10 years, or as a matter of face, 13 years of my life, I have never felt this way before.

Not starting school at the First Week of January?

WHAT A JOY!

The Fall of Single Feather...

Presents

I got two new books.

Forgotten Realms: The Legend Of Drizzt Book I - Homeland and Book VI - The Halfling's Gem

My Dad bought it.

Let's discuss the reasons he could ever want to buy that book for me, especially since, he bought Addidas products for the rest of my family.

First up.

I'm the only one who reads the books my father buys. Whether its the Sesame Street Books (Yes, even though I dun really like Big Bird), Journey to the West 30++ books series (English that I read tons of times) and Mickey Mouse Books (Some, Home, Country thingy).

There are a few others, but you get the idea. The above books were actually bought when my sisters were born.

Secondly,

He bought the books to distract my time from using the computer. My mother has been complaining about the electricity bills.

Thirdly,

That's the only thing I ever do besides using the computer, and eating at home.

Fourthly,

I already have 4 bags from him over the last 3 years. About time to buy something else.

Finally,

By buying Book I and Book VI, he has successfully forced me to buy Book II to Book V, hence taking MORE time from the computer.

Lol.

I thought it was a plain igenious idea to take away time from the computer and games, in overall. Besides, its a new book!

I can't hate it.

XD

Christmas

Last Christmas - Savage Garden

As an added bonus, my favourite song.

Frosty the Snowman - A White Christmas

Frosty the Snowman

Frosty the Snowman
Was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the Snowman
Is a fairytale they say
He was made of snow
But the children know
How he came to life one day

There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around

Frosty the Snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say
He could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me

Frosty the Snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away

Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there
All around the square
Saying catch me if you can

He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler stop

Frosty the Snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye
Saying don't you cry
I'll be back again some day

Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go

Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow

Strikers

Since I was young, I loved to play Strikers II 1945.

It's an aeroplane shooting game, where you control a tiny aircraft and battle against the enemy planes.

Even though they are enemies, you'll be more concerned of dodging the bullets, which is actually what you only have to do.

Here's a game similar to it.

Frantic

I started to get hit at Level 4, and died once at Level 10.

Make minimal movements to dodge the bullets and you'll finish the game, no sweat.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Normal

–adjective
1.conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.

That is the definition of normal.

However, for some reason, many people says that they wish to live normal lifes, but I mean, their lifes aren't normal?

These people, those that wish to live normal lifes feels, that one way or another, their life aren't normal. It could be things like family issues, office/work politics, poverty, or even relationship issues.

However, aren't these the norm? After all, the definition did state that normal is something common, or standard.

Hence, a normal life would be something everyone experiences.

Everyone has relationship issues, family issues at one point or another, or even being poor at certain times(Needless to say, this does not apply to everyone. *Looks at somebody*).

So, aren't these people who are living normal lifes, wishing for a normal life?

Doesn't make much of a sense, doesn't it?

Unless, of course they are assasins, vampires, werewolves, able to travel through time, cast spells, command the elements, run at abnormal speeds, etc, they would be justified.

Those people, are simply in,

The Fall of Single Feather...

Joy.

Nope.

It's not Nurse Joy. It's finally-able-to-eat-apple joy!

Of course, I'm not saying that I'm not able to eat it, just that I had difficulties eating it.

Due to the braces pushing on my teeth, they weren't able to bite my food properly. Not that the load's off, I'm able to bite on to an apple fine now.

The SHEER joy!

=D

Not everyone would be able to understand this pain of mine.

In the past, I used take whole apples and eat it just like that. Saves trouble and time.

It was also just about the fruit that makes sure I had two servings of fruit and vegetables everyday.

Braces reduced that chance.

BUT NOW I CAN DO IT AGAIN!

YaY!

Food.

A while back, while I was walking home, I chanced upon this poster outside the PAP kindergarden.

It went something like,"Giving a lot of food to your child does not mean giving him a lot of love."(Obviously, the line doesn't go like this, but it's somewhat like that.)

How wrong is that?

Food = Love.

YES, FOOD = LOVE.

I mean, come on man, its food. Of course it equates to love.

...

It just so happened that it isn't measure by quantity, but by quality.

Then again, it seems to work either way.

That poster was meant to alert parents on the increasing obesity rate in the country. In order words, kids like me.

The mission seem to be simple, but they can't put the line that way, I mean. Food does equate to love, how can they deny so?

Dammit.

I'm going to cook some salmon recepie with beans and potatoes next week.

Weirdness

That was what I felt when I cycled today.

Met Leon and Suraj at ECP today to cycle.

We started near Mac's, and headed towards the Bedok Jetty direction. I think I stopped about... 4/5 times before I actually reached there.

Subsequently, we managed to reach our "checkpoints" with lesser and lesser "pit stops".

Eventually, we managed to reach Safra resort. I passed my pouch to Suraj after that, and headed back to Mac's. Met Timothy on the way.

Managed to have only one pit stop on the way, so I guess it's not bad.

I wrote a little as well.

Lethargy, I guess.

*sigh*

The Fall of Single Feather...

Shit.

I originally intended to type "Ouch" for the starting line, but my whole post was gone. Blogger couldn't post it for some reason.

I bit my tongue while eating candy earlier.

Tsk tsk.

I went to the movies today. Watched Body of Lies that is NC16 with a couple of people.

It was kind of cool, seeing how the usher was rather unresponsive to my presence. I was holding on to my Nachos and Cheese, waiting patiently for the people to hand over my movie ticket.

After some clearance, we walked up, and everyone started to stare at me, some with laughter, mostly with disbelief.

This has only earned a single line from that usher, which is,"He's not underage, right?"

Everyone burst into laughter and walked into the theatre.

I replied with a simple "No" and headed in myself.

The movie was pretty good. Some chim stuff here and there, but not really difficult to understand.

It's a different sort of excitement compared to other thrillers, though the romance part seems kind of forced. It seems all pointless in the end, yet it plays an important part.

It was interesting enough I guess. Better than Quantum of Solace.

Hunger

When I typed the word, "Hunger", I had a sudden relation to zombies in my mind.

Hm...

Anyway, much my mother's persuasion, I started to pack my cupboards, mostly emptying them of useless stuff.

Here are some of the things I found, that I have forgotten all about.

1) Primary 2 and 6 school photos

2)Primary school phonebook. Back when people use them.

3)Sticker books

4)Spongebob stickers

5)Batman and Robin Soundtrack

6)Some CDs

7)WWE Trading card Deck (Booker T)

8)Some old half-heartedly drawn comic book by me

9)Gameboy Pocket and Pokemon Yellow

10)Harry Potter Voodoo Doll

11)Super Russell (Yo-yo)

I think that's enough for now. I'll have more to dig up when handling my wardrobes.

Lol.

Gaming.

Since I don't have left 4 Dead, I don't have a chance to play against zombies for the moment.

I turned to Heroes V to entertain myself for the time being.

I should be signing up for a Jap class tomorrow. Many people I know would probably be happy about me learning to converse in Japanese.

Oh well, it all turns down to tomorrow.

I didn't get to cut my hair as well. The hairdresser was on leave till next week.

Apparently, she does cut baby hair too.

Interesting.

I'm hoping to get the spirit to write something tomorrow. I have the ideas for two chapters but I'm kind of lazy to start.

Tomorrow afternoon, perhaps. Tomorrow afternoon.
