The Fall of Single Feather...

Angry.

An incident earlier pissed me off.

...

Listening to music in an effort to cool myself down. I managed to ask my sister's permission to blog while I'm listening to the songs.

=D

Actually, I'm just posting to say that I'm still alive, as one of my friends would like to put it. Life's been the usual, even without a computer. Instead of spending time on the computer, I merely read more and watched move TV to compensate with the free time. I study nightly now, which I'm sure everyone is doing at the very least.

Feeling better, actually, but I can't seem to keep up with Mr. Koh's speed in Maths. I haven't done as much as where he had gone through.

Today, Jared and Leon came to my house after school.
There was this sports chanbara course which the TKD students from Maris Stella are having this Saturday. I decided to give Jared a sneak peak before his actual course lesson so that he can thrash other people on Saturday, though I can't say it went very well.

lol

He's better than Leon is executing basic moves, but worser in Leon in fighting. I was kind of surprised. There was this other guy with TKD background, but he fought me well. Maybe its because of age or something, but Leon said that he's just no proficient in his hands. Or maybe hes just not very comfortable about it when he was fighting with me, cause there was more sounds made by impact from the swords.

Anyway, that was a lame excuse, but an excuse nonetheless.

My brother-in-law intercepted my fight with Jared halfway and landed a lot of blows on my arm. They're going to last until tomorrow at most. For some reason I was off form, hands felt pretty heavy for some reason and I could not move properly at all. My hands "stumbled" and I could even hit and pull back properly.

>_>

I managed to thrash Jared, so I guess its fine.

I'll try to make a long post to make up for the loss of posts sometime when I managed to get my hands on a computer. I'll think of something.

Right. Have fun, everyone.

*sigh*

"It was a seamless continuation."

The Fall of Single Feather...

=D

I finally managed to post.

Not going to talk much here though, other than the fact that my computer is down, and I've caught "The Dark Knight" in the cinemas today.

Oh god, I love the Joker. He reminds me of a cooler version of Kira with a different kind of Justice about the world.

So, darn cool.

This might be the last time I post in a while. Truthfully, I didnt expect to be able to post today. It was a last minute decision. I'm currently over at my cousin's place. Dad's here for some particular reason, so I took the chance to use the computer.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Tired.

For some reason, I feel sleepy. My eldest sister is going to camp over my place.

Mom wants her to be here, so that she can help in taking care of the kid. Afraid that she can't take care of her own daughter herself.

Lol.

Wonder how my mother takes care of herself when she first gave birth. Is it really the fault of our own generation when we deprove in one way or another?

There's no certain answer I guess.

I don't really have much to post about, so I'll add in some pictures, if only the damn loader is working. I'm very sure that my computer is probably the source of the blame and not blogger. Good news in a while, my backup computer is going in for repairs tomorrow.

8DD

If it can't be repaired, then...

Ha. Hahahaha. Hahaha. Haha. Ha. ha. ha.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Happy.

I'm feeling kinda happy right now, but I'm not telling anyone why. Well, some people may know the reason but... meh... thats not important.

You just need to know that I'm happy.

=D

I'll talk about names today.

Her actual, full name, is Seraphina Nicolette Chu.
Chinese goes by, 朱琦凤。

Of course, it didn't started this way.

Me and my sister were walking home one day, when we started to talk about names.

Since the surname goes by "Chu", or pronounced as "Zhu", we started to give names along that line. Personally, I like 朱丽叶。A.K.A. Juliet.

Seraphina was decided a long time ago, so it became, Seraphina Juliet. I like that. Come on man, it sounds nice right?

8D

Then, it became simply 朱李。 A.K.A. Julie. My Dad's idea, since it takes both surnames from our families...

No one really bothered about him though.

After some other discussion, my brother in law decided to have the word, "Snow", or "雪" inside it.

Using that as a base, we had some ideas. 朱雪糕。 Funny name, I know. But, if you pronounce it as simply ice cream, it would sound kinda cute, and cheerful. After all, it is ice cream. Its suppose to be kids smile and laugh. Who doesn't like ice cream?

However, due to his surname, it became, 猪血糕。 Which is plain freaky. So that was off. Way off man.

Lol. That was like the coolest name ever.

My second sister, decided to call her 雪碧, which means, Sprite.

lol.

朱 = Red, so, it would be red sprite.

Lol.

Cool though.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Sorry.

Wrong name. Was just told of the name changes.

Seraphina 朱琦凤。

Due to spelling problems, I didn't spell her Catholic name.

I'll talk more about the name tomorrow. Kinda lazy right now.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Laziness.

Videos we took after the demonstration at the community centre a while back. All of them are Samuel(bro-in-law) against Rinto(crazy, dancing guy). I'm not pinpointing who's who. Guess yourselves.

This just simple fighting among the two of them. The rules are simple. So as long as you hit any part of your opponent, it counts as a point. It both lands a hit on each other, it'll be known as Aiuchi. No count. Too light, doesn't count too.

Some translations first.

Hajime - Start/begin
Asai/Kaori/Nash - Too light, a brush. Doesn't count as a point.
****-ari - A hit on the specific body part.
Dou - Body
Ashi - leg
Aiuchi - A double hit. Both player hit each other at the same time. Doesn't count as a point in practice.

One last thing. I'm not in the video.

1)Long sword.

2)Short sword.

3)Both.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Old.

For some reason, the joints of my elbow is hurting. Aches, here and there. It even disturbs me when I put my elbow on the table as I type.

*Sigh*

In any case, there are two things worth mentioning today.

1) This is a big piece of news that is almost worth celebrating for. I am sure that most of you would definitely agree with me. Even though it is still insignificant, it is an improvement.

A small step for you, a big leap for mankind.

Something like that. With this, I'm sure that I would make further improvements, at least, for the years to come.

As of today, I have officially grown three more centimeters since February.

I am now 155cm tall.

Lol.

2) This is yet another gravity-defying phenomenon. I found it entirely amazing, and definitely worth celebrating. Only thing was that when I laughed at Andre Lee in his 2.4km timing today, saying that I beat him, Leon and Jared only laughed at me so hard.

I had no choice but to hang my head in shame.

Haha.

I passed my 2.4km test. Timing of... 14mins 44sec. I didn't run on a proper track though, it was the school running track.

---

After I reached home today, I watched some MadTv clips.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Alert.

Well, it is still pretty early into the night.

Nothing much to talk about. Read a little more here and there. Plot gets more exciting and more depressing at the same time. Nothing much nice and happy going on in the story, only several twists and sad stuff.

Played a little more of "World ends with you" again. Stopped for a week now, busy reading and doing some other things.

Life's pretty boring, what can I say?

Maths test was crapped up. Not as bad as I would have thought. The only reason it was bad was that I forgot how to differentiate lnx. Other than one other question which for some reason I could never get, there was nothing wrong about it.

Though forgetting how to differentiate that pretty much spells for my doom.

>_>

<_<

Later...

"The axe is his weapon."

Verity nodded slowly,"And he is mine."

The Fall of Single Feather...

Reading.

Yep. I'm still reading. Reached about 300++ pages of the book. Still a long way to go.

The book is going pretty interestingly by far. Unlike Terry Goodkind's series, this book starts when the main character is still a kid, until now, where he is fifteen.

And, even more interestingly, he is not a virgin.

Lol.

Its nice to see how the romance between him and his girlfriend progresses, since it is easier to relate, with our age group. The way we think, the way we feel, or the way we want things to happen, are pretty much similar.

Compared to Richard and Kahlan, the characters from Terry Goodkind's stories, are much more passionate compared to Fitz and Molly, but Fitz and Molly has a sweeter and more romantic relationship.

I cannot really blame Richard and Kahlan for that, because they are in a much worser situation compared to the other two all the time.

I took down some quotes and paragraphs, for reference in the future, but I'll share one with you.

Later...

"Go to bed,"she chided me. Blushing, she added,"And dream of me. I hope I have plagued your dreams lately as much as you have mine." Those words sent me fleeing down to my room, and every time I thought of it, I blushed again. - Robin Hobb (Royal Assassin)

The Fall of Single Feather...

- _ -

Ever since I reached home, I started reading.

After I showered, I read again. I stopped only to on my computer, before leaving it while I went on to read my book.

The Farseer Trilogy, Book 2: Royal Assassin. Written by Robin Hobb.

I read the first book some time last year, and I found it amazing that I could still remember the details and feelings that were depicted from the previous book. When the plot went on to some of the important highlights or events, my eyes went,

O_O.

I don't watch TV.

Reading, personally, I feel is way better. It connects the emotions that the character is feeling and the reader's emotion much more easily. Of course, the writer has to be of a certain standard. A Television show can only make me sad, but a book can make me really, really sad, or really really happy. A TV show can make me smile, but it is only the normal laughter kind, and not the deeply happy kind.

Other than reading, I heard of TWO cool lines today, though, MOST of you probably wouldn't understand.
