The Fall of Single Feather...

Time.

Soon, it will be time.

All those glorious activities that I have planned for the next month or so, all of them, all of them will begin.

Time.

Soon, it will be time.

4, only 4 days away.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Numb.

I'm not so... excited about the exams anymore.

That being said, I'm not going to play that song. Instead, I'll play something that I thought was cool.

Lips of an Angel - Hinder

Honey why you calling me so late?
It's kinda hard to talk right now.
Honey why are you crying? Is everything okay?
I gotta whisper 'cause I can't be too loud

Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's funny that you're calling me tonight
And, yes, I've dreamt of you too
And does he know you're talking to me
Will it start a fight
No I don't think she has a clue

Well my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on
It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

And I never wanna say goodbye
But girl you make it hard to be faithful
With the lips of an angel

Honey why you calling me so late?

So instead, I'll show you some pictures that I found today.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Studying.

I studied Physics today. I actually read through the Electricity and Magnetic chapters.

I read through it, and did a few questions to 2x check my ideas, and reflected on some old questions.

After seriously reading the text, I realised it was actually quite easy.

In fact, it made me feel kind of stupid.

Really.

I'm going to start with some practice questions tomorrow, and then I'll touch biology. I'll need to study it somewhat, just in case I don't get the feel to study it after mathematics.

xD

I have a few problems when I'm studying.

1) Discipline: I have absolutely no self discipline. I believe this fact is rather obvious. I can't study with a computer. I can't study with people around. Better yet, I can't make myself start studying without someone around. Hence, I always never managed to be able to study. Boring myself doesn't work either. It's not that hard to find something else to do.

2)Selective learning: Just like people who have selective hearing, I have selective learning. I learn, or rather, study, the only things that I want to, or feel like studying about. This problem is pointed out to me a few times, actually. My old tution teacher told me about this, Ms Goh told me about this as well.

There are a few more problems, but I'll leave it as that.

Fortunately and unfortunately, there is only one solution to this problem. I need some sort of motivation. Wait, not some.

I need Strong, Heavy, Powerful motivation. Else, nothing will work.

'sup

Let me show you guys some videos.

They're kind of... weird, I have to say.

Haha. But they're still cool in a way.

This is the first one. It's a Lion dance, actually. Only thing is, it's not performed by a human, it's performed by robots.

My cousin did this for his job, I think.

Yes. He gets PAID for this.

It's weird isn't it?

Well, in any case, please do not start drinking energy drinks. Weird things will happen to you. Really.

That's my cousin.

Yawn.

I didn't wanted to post today, at first, but I just realised that I didn't yesterday.

A part of me thinks that I cannot score full marks for A maths paper 2.

The other part of me thinks that, its not a dream.

Looks like 10 points isn't as impossible as I thought after all.

From the looks of things, I may just get it.

With CCA help, of course.

*Sigh*

In The End - Linkin Park

In The End - Linkin Park

It starts with one thing
I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
Didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on, but didn't even know
Wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when

I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter

One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme, to explain in due time
I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so (far)
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me (in the end)
You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I

Chorus

I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
And for all this
There's only one thing you should know (2x)

Chorus

The Fall of Single Feather...

Screams.

I have never heard a scream that is as high pitch as this.

I have heard guys scream. It is pretty scary. Trust me. The frequency of their screams could possibly match a girl's without fail.

While we were outside once, Daniel and I had heard a female screaming for some reason.

My comment to him was, "I can't believe I can hear this in my school."

Naturally, I had heard a girl scream. It wasn't too terrifying, since it could match the guys screaming at my school.

So, in a way, I was used to it.

I have also heard someone scream because of anger. It wasn't really much of a scream, since an assertive tone has to be enforce into it. It was more like a shout.

However, I have just heard, the highest pitch of a scream in 16 years of my life.

Truthfully, I have never, ever, heard anyone living scream like that.

When I heard it, I almost though my throat was going to bleed, even though it wasn't my throat. Who knew babies could scream like that?

Apparently, my sister did.

I was dumbfounded when my baby niece screamed at the top of her lungs.

My only comment was,"I think she has potential to give commands when she grow up."

Destruction.

I'm a very destructive person.

I've broken the little thing the pops my keyboard up in two months. I've almost shattered my new CD drive as well, along with a new CD with I just bought a few weeks ago.

I've scratched my cousin's armani sunglasses.

I've dropped my phone countless times, causing it to shatter to three pieces. The phone, the battery and the battery cover.

=D

I've lost three handphones within a year.

I've accidentally spilled water on my sister's book, rendering the cover soaked up and veiny.

I've torn books by pure accident.

I've whacked human flesh tons of times.

I've been whacked hard many tons more times.

I've pulled the toilet door of my house toilet apart. The WHOLE thing just came out. Luckily, I was alble to fix it somehow.

I've rendered my computer into a condition where I have to reboot it tons of times for a period of ten years.

I'm destructive.

"There is magic in sincere forgiveness, the magic to heal. In forgiveness you grant, but more so, in forgiveness you receive." - Temple of the Winds, Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind.

Personally, I like this line.

Forgiving is a very difficult, but very rewarding thing. If could forgive someone truly, it would feel as if a load is removed from your life. Like, you feel better, and the day has brightened all of a sudden.

However, if you really cannot forgive that person, sometimes, what you have to do, is to bear with it.

Forgiving, yes, its a nice thing, but, they are always actions which we find hard to forgive. We must still remember, that he or she might not have meant it. So, its not entirely their fault. So, we must bear, and control our anger and resentment against them.

If you cannot forgive, at least, bear with it.

You'll probably feel better from that, rather drowning in anger and sorrows.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Passion.

Wizard's Third Rule, "Passion rules reason."

This one should be easy to understand as well.

Someone does something out of passion, which they know it should not be what they should be doing, something that they could have acted out of reason.

The example, from the book, is about his woman, who tried to save her son, who has drowned in the lake. It had happened in a public event. People were trying to hold back the mother, who, in reality couldn't swim.

They were sending in the rescue team, which was the reasonable thing to do. What the mother had done, was what she had done in passion.

In the end, the victim grew up to a fine young man; without a mother.

Doing something without your brains is could cause you harm. This, is what the third rule is about.

Still, we fall prey to this rule constantly, and one of them, has the harm which comes in the way of STIs.

Good game.

The information from this book comes from the Blood of the Fold of the Swod of Truth Novel series, by Terry Goodkind.

Now, let's hope, or rather, let me hope, that I can overrule my passion of using the computer, when the reasonable thing to do is to study.

Orientation.

Unlike Leon, I do not have much love for Hot' n Cold, but I like another song by Katy Perry pretty much.

I kissed a girl, by Katy Perry

This was never the way I planned
Not my intention
I got so brave, drink in hand
Lost my discretion
It's not what, I'm used to
Just wanna try you on
I'm curious for you
Caught my attention

I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

No, I don't even know your name
It doesn't matter
Your my experimental game
Just human nature
It's not what, good girls do
Not how they should behave
My head gets so confused
Hard to obey

I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

Us girls we are so magical
Soft skin, red lips, so kissable
Hard to resist so touchable
Too good to deny it
Ain't no big deal, it's innocent

I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

The Fall of Single Feather...

Classification.

A simple, but useful method for sorting things out.

It allows you to keep track of your things better. Finding out where they are, checking if everything is in place, or simply counting the amount of things that you have.

It also helps people to look for the kind of things they need.

In the example that I'm going to talk about, we're going to learn, how classification helps to tell you, what kind of people you do not want to mess with.

4D has 3 different categories.

1)Retards: The most largely populated category in our class, for almost everyone is retarded. We can scream, shout, hit each other, laugh at no apparent reason, or we could have a simple, random, outburst. Some of them could just start unbuckling their pants and shove their loose clothing inside. Some, could just go around, saying, "Retarded siol~".

That, is the group that I'm in and also the reason why I'm introducing this group first.

The only reason why everyone is retarded, is because Qi Quan is. He is the source of the virus that infected everyone else. He is so powerful and contagious that I call him Spongebob. Perverted, Spongebob. Leon ranks just a way off from him.

2)Insulators: The least people in our group. This group is the one that has a natural immunity against the Retarded virus. Effectively, there is only one person in this group, and he is none other than the person sitting beside me, Peh Wei Keong.

Can you imagine the pain I feel?

3)Gays: And here comes the third group. The only reason why they cannot be infected by this virus, is because, they're already affected by one themselves. Yes, they are those who wear pink, those that laugh and giggle like women, and yet sounding like men.

I have no want to state the leader of this group, the source of infection. He is who not be named is so darn scary, that we use another name in this cause.

He is non other than, Gay Fag. (Yes, I noticed I used black. Highlight the words if you really MUST see it.)

The Fall of Single Feather...

Grocery shopping.

After studying at my mother's workplace, the two of us went to Parkway parade together so that we can get some last minute groceries, dinner, and herbs for my mother.

She's sick, so she wants to drink this weird thingy call "千张纸" . Or at least, I think that's the correct spelling. It's some wierd ass paper lookalike herb with a wasp.

Anyway, it works in treating cough.

After that, we got the groceries. In front of us in the queue was an African. Apparently, he was here studying, and it was his one week holiday right now.

But that is not the main point. I took a quick scan of what he bought, and then mine.

He had things like potatoes, bell peppers of different colours, low-fat milk, vege, and the like. Well, you get the idea. I had Instant noodles, canned soup, milk, Ritz cheese crackers, Apple baked ham and various others processed food.

For a second, I felt guilty.

Another part of me made me envy him. Those kind of ingredients can only mean that either he, or someone he knows is going to cook. How long have it been since I cooked a proper meal?

June holidays? Oh god...

---------------------------

Wizard's second rule.

"The greatest harm can result from the best intentions." - Stone of Tears, The Sword of Truth.

This one is pretty simple to understand, isn't it? It isn't as complicated as the first, yet it is also potentially destructive.

One example comes from One piece.

Chopper, the antelope "monster" wanted to save the doctor, so he went through all the hardships to collect a mushroom for him, which he believed to be the only cure. In the end, it was a deadlier poison that the original disease the doctor got inflicted by.

He was killed two hours later.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Champion.

When someone asks me if I have anything memorable in Maris Stella, anything fun or anything especially cool, I don't really know what to say.

Its not because my life in Maris Stella was boring, but there was really nothing to talk about.

After all, if everyday in class is an exceptionally fun day, despite getting hit at the jaw, stomach, hands being snapped, creating noises that could freak anybody out. Provided, of course, they can hear them.

But its normal. It's an everyday thing.

I guess that's one of the pros for studying in a single sex school. We can do anything, say any kind of stupid, perverted joke, talk about women and numbers like 9s and 6s in school, it doesn't matter at all.

We can hit each other, we can slap SS' forehead, we can shout like there is no shit in this world.

To keep it in simpler terms, we can forgo about caring for our image.

However, there is only ONE thing that can tarnish our own images. And that is, to start wearing pink regularly and frequently.

If you don't, good for you.

If there is one thing that I will have to get used to, it is the lack of oppotunities to use violence, or rather, have reflex training everyday.

No matter anyway, for I am a Champion of the World.

Cos' Mr. Kwok said so.

Still, I am glad that I'm not in a single sex school anymore.

AND I'M GETTING OLD. HOLY CRAP. Doesn't matter. I'll look young no matter what.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Lies.

Ever lost something precious, and never found it again?

If it was not precious to you, it could be something important, or something that could get yourself screwed if you can't find it anymore.

In any case, the normal instinct to recovering lost item is to back track the last time you see that particular item. However, you must know this. When you back track to where you seen the last item, is it where you really last saw it, or whether, you wanted to think that that is where you last saw it?

This is kind of confusing, but to keep it simple, I'm saying, to not lie to youself, or believe in lies. At times, when we search for something, or want to believe in something, it could be lies that we want to believe in instead.

Try reflecting on a time, where you lose something and believed that it was somewhere. Then, it appeared somewhere else instead. Try to remember the feeling that you experience when you sincerely believed that it was where you thought it was supposed to be.

Then, you realised that you just believed a lie.

If this had never happened to you, congratulations.

It happened to me a lot of times.

This may be better explained by this line, so I'll just show it to you.

This, is the Wizard's First Rule from Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth Novel series.

"People are stupid. They will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true." - Zedd.

Explanation by Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander:

"People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."

Hearts.

I've fallen in love with Kingdom Hearts all over again.

Truthfully, I've only finished playing the GBA version of the game. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Before I started on it though, I was so fascinated by its storyline. It came as no surprise, since it is a work from Square Enix.

However, Leon said that its storyline sucks, and the only reason he played that game non-stop is to fight Sepiroth, the biggest baddy in Square Enix history over and over again.

I've played a seriously minimal amount of Kingdom Hearts II, and a small part of Kingdom Hearts.

Even though its a Disney game with Donald Duck and Goofy, I am not put off by it. Nor attracted to it, particularly because of them.

I prefer Bugs Bunny.

Though, only Disney has songs that are really good. Looney Tunes has only one that I remember and that is "I Believe I Can Fly, by R Kelly."

After Os, I seriously need to complete at least the first part of that game.

Satisfaction.

After dinner at Geylang, my Dad brought us roundabout to the other side of the road, and then to the durian stall there.

In the first time of my life, I ate durian till I was full. That was about an hour ago, and I'm still feeling stuffed right now.

God.

Haha.

When I was eating at Geylang, I saw something that was pretty alarming.

Imagine a female version of Mark Koh, walking down into the hawker pass my table, wearing a white translucent dress. It was as clear as hell that her undies are black. For that minute, I didn't dare to eat. My Dad was laughing at my reaction.

Oh god.

I can't imagine what would happen it she looked like Gay Fag.

Songs.

Yesterday was Musicals.

The Day Before was Bossanova.

Today, I wanted to talk about Disney. But then, I met with Christina Aguilera, so I didn't know what I should do. So, I decided to talk about both of them together instead.

Reflections, by Christina Aguilera.

Reflection - Christina Aguilera

Beautiful song, in my opinion. There's a really good story behind this song. It does not have to apply to her dressing and acting as a guy, but it could have relation to other things as well. As for what, you'll have to figure that out yourself.

Here's another video.

The Fall of Single Feather...

Music.

Not the kind with the lyrics. I mean the plain, simple music.

Recently, I've been somewhat into songs. The kind of songs that I have never listened to in the past. Not the pop kinds, nor the really old kinds.

These songs I've been listening to are not so popular, but are pretty good.

For instance, the song that I introduced yesterday, Feelin' so Good by Olivia Ong. She is a local singer, that went to Japan for her career a while back. It's a simple song, something that we can all relate to, and not about the love mumbo jumbo.

I thought it was really interesting. Today, I started to listen to the musicals that was found in my library. Apparently, my sister's colleague got them.

One of the albums, is known as Chris Phillip's "A Tribute".

It is a collection of piano pieces, with several other bases behind it. Or at least, it sounded like the piano. I'm not a music person, I'm not really good with this kind of stuff.

My favourite piece among them is known as the Forrest Gump Suite. Apparently, it comes from this movie called Forrest Gump. It's a 1994 movie. If you want more details, you'll have to hop over to wikipedia.

Try listening to a bit of this.

FEELIN SO GOOD - Olivia Ong

Feelin' so good by Olivia Ong

When I opened up my eyes today
Felt the sun shining on my face
It became so clear to me that everything is going my way
I feel like there's no limit to what I can see
Got rid of fears that were holding me
My endless possibilities
Has the whole world opened up for me

That's why I'm feeling good
I knew that I would
Been taking care of myself like I should
Cause not one thing can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me around...

Now that day is turning into night
And everything is still going right
There's no way you can stop me this time
Or break this spirit of mine

Like the stars above I'm gonna shine
Anything I want will be mine
Tonight I'm gonna have a good time call a few friends of mine
Cause I'm loving life and tonight's for feeling so good

I knew that I would
Been taking care of myself like I should
Cause not one thing can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me around

I'm feeling so good
I knew that I would
Been taking care of myself like I should
Cause not one thing can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me around

Party on tonight tonight
Everything is feeling right DJ
Party on tonight
Everything is feeling right DJ

I'm feeling so good
I knew that I would
Been taking care of myself like I should
Cause not one thing can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me around

Been taking care of myself like I should
Cause not one thing can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me around
