The Fall of Single Feather...

This is starting to get difficult...
I'm posting now, since I have tution later on. Its all about results anyway.

--------------------

I heaved out a huge sigh. The moment has come. It was time. How I wished I am able to drag the time away before it finally arrived, or simply, for it to end now. Nevertheless, this was something that I have to do sooner or later. It was inevitable.

Making a final adjustment to my red tie, I walked towards the centre of the stage. At once, the air was filled with applauds and cheers. They were excited, I know. Sadly, not all of them is going to be happy about this. Not at all.

Squatting down, I picked up the mic and brought it close to my lips. The commotion died down as quickly as it has came.

"A very good evening to all of you, my dear gentlemen, and boys. Once again, this period of time and torture has befallen us. We have stood against these dark times and held on our own. I'm glad to tell all of you that I have come with good news,"the crowd cheered, filling the air with applauds and laughters, "and bad news."

Then, everyone was silent. I could see how they had felt. It was written all over their faces. Some of them were disappointed, some of them were held in fear and yet, some, remained hopeful. I smiled.

"We passed physics." Smiles? That was for certain. Everyone in the hall had huge grin plastered on their faces, and several were screaming at the top of their lungs. This, this was a feat indeed.

"It was only by a thin margin of 51.5, but we managed to save our own lives. I'm sorry to announce that a third of our friends had not managed to hold their stand and was lost to the paper. May I ask all of you good people, to give us a minute of silence."

With that, everyone bowed their heads, silently praying for those had fallen. However, we were all sure that they would survive the next wave. We were all sure that they will soon be standing once again.

A minute later, all of them looked up, eager for the next result. "We triumphed over Elementary mathematics." Tears swelled up in some of their eyes. They were tears of joy, I could recognize them. I had my own experience.

"Let us now give a round of applause for the men who had scored excellently for their maths and not a mere pass." It was more than an applause.

Just as the crowd died down, I gave them the third result, Science. "Now, I am glad to tell all of you the result of the science attack. With a beautiful possesion of sixty over points, we defeated the scientic demons!"

I looked through the crowd, smiling. I knew all of them were glad. I watched as bodies flew up and down, men throwing these boys into the these skies in slow motion. This was our best result by far.

"Next, we have also won against Social Studies with a score of 18/25,"the crowd was going to scream with joy again, but I told them of the next result before they could comment,"and a score of 11.5/25 for Geography." In a simultanious timing, everyone gasped.

"It was a stupid mistake that we had commited. I'm sorry to say this, but I'm sure that we shall not fall again!" I could see heads nodding. Already were their determination building up.

"Our English was not as good as expected as well. We had a mere score of 52." Again, tears were forming at the edges of their eyes. They were a different kind however, a different mixture of feelings that has formed the tears.

"A failiure by 3 points for Additional Mathematics." I brought my hand up to my temples, massaging them lightly. I'm starting to feel a slight headache. Telling them the results was worser than I have thought. Still, I have to announce the final result.

"A 67 for Chinese." After that I was deaf. I felt my body falling, dropping down on to the wooden flooring before finally, seeing nothing, but darkness.
-----------------------------

I guess that sums it up. Somewhat dramatic. I hope there isn't much mistakes in there cause I didn't bother to look through it. Hope it could at least bring a few laughs.

Later...
