The Fall of Single Feather...

Grocery shopping.

After studying at my mother's workplace, the two of us went to Parkway parade together so that we can get some last minute groceries, dinner, and herbs for my mother.

She's sick, so she wants to drink this weird thingy call "千张纸" . Or at least, I think that's the correct spelling. It's some wierd ass paper lookalike herb with a wasp.

Anyway, it works in treating cough.

After that, we got the groceries. In front of us in the queue was an African. Apparently, he was here studying, and it was his one week holiday right now.

But that is not the main point. I took a quick scan of what he bought, and then mine.

He had things like potatoes, bell peppers of different colours, low-fat milk, vege, and the like. Well, you get the idea. I had Instant noodles, canned soup, milk, Ritz cheese crackers, Apple baked ham and various others processed food.

For a second, I felt guilty.

Another part of me made me envy him. Those kind of ingredients can only mean that either he, or someone he knows is going to cook. How long have it been since I cooked a proper meal?

June holidays? Oh god...

Wizard's second rule.

"The greatest harm can result from the best intentions." - Stone of Tears, The Sword of Truth.

This one is pretty simple to understand, isn't it? It isn't as complicated as the first, yet it is also potentially destructive.

One example comes from One piece.

Chopper, the antelope "monster" wanted to save the doctor, so he went through all the hardships to collect a mushroom for him, which he believed to be the only cure. In the end, it was a deadlier poison that the original disease the doctor got inflicted by.

He was killed two hours later.

Later...

P.S. I can't help but laugh at the students wearing school uniforms today....
