Determination
Long time ago, Leon told me to watch Hajime no Ippo, a boxing manga.
I didn't want to.
Eventually, I started on it, cause I had nothing to do. And, eventually I got hooked.
It is one of the things that made me enjoy fighting, or even want to fight. It's the contact, the adrenaline, and somewhat, the pain that makes it all so enjoyable.
Then again, it's one of the things that you have to experience yourself to understand.
However, if there was one thing that Hajime no Ippo taught me, it is the determination to carry on, to surpass your limits. At this point of time, my brother in law would say, I don't know my limits.
I would say I do, but, is it really my limit?
One of the reasons that I train so damn hard is so that I will get a chance to fight. So that I will get a chance to experience a good fight. So that I will get a chance to throw every damn thing that I can do on my opponent, and he can throw everything on me as well. So that I will get a chance to never say die.
That feeling would be awesome.
Later...
