Hatred
I didn't plan to blog.
I mean, I didn't plan to blog tonight. I forgot what I wanted to blog about initially.
Until I read this... post. About hating homo sapiens.
To quote Asakura Yoh, the main protaganist in Shaman King.
"You know, I don't like humans that much either.
Grandpa told me once... that Humans are like cancerous cells. Those cells satsify their appetite by eating other surrounding cells and they increase quickly. They keep eating healthy cells and increase more and more. So in the end, they ruin their environment and destroy themselves.
Nowadays, its too late to change this behaviour. But humans will ruin the planet unless someone fixes the situation.
And that someone, is the Shaman King."
At times, it is pointless to know people. Knowing people that will eventually hurt other people, cause them harm, and finally, one day, you will realise.
"Are they really worth helping?
If I help them... Will they hurt other people in the future?"
Going on, reading, looking from this point of view, would this mean that not improving the life of mankind is the best solution to the world's problem? Since helping people will only cause hurt to other people in the end.
After all,
"Murder is the way of nature, of all living things." - Terry Goodkind
We live to hurt other living things so that we can survive.
So, ultimately, what is the point of helping people in the first place?
Why should I help?
Because, in the end, it doesn't matter what other people do. So as long as I don't hurt other people, and help them instead, it doesn't matter
There is no way I can make a difference to all the starfish that rests on the sandy shores instead of the bottom of the sea if I help them. There is no way I can make a difference for all the humans that are hurting everyone if I try to help.
But I can make a difference for that one starfish by throwing it back into the sea where it can survive.
There's a reason why I avoid some people. There's a reason why I avoid letting my friends know some people.
There's a reason why I chose to teach children as well.
In the end, "Enemies are the price of honor." - Terry Goodkind
Later...
"I'm not a monster... I'm just ahead of the curve." - The Joker
P.S. After finish one essay, I'd say I have enough practice and mood to write the one I'm supposed to.
