The Fall of Single Feather...

Professionalism

I have a module in my course based on Professional development.

In this case, naturally it talks about developing professionally as a teacher.

For the first lesson, the teacher briefly went through the ideas of being a professional; the characteristics, and values of a professional.

According to what we have discussed, being a professional is many things.

A professional must dress appropriately.
A professional must be reliable.
A professional must be composed.
A professional must have good hygiene.
A professional must have initiative.
A professional must be honest.
A professional must have a good attitude.
A professional must have a good attendance.

Just basing on this I can tell you who is and is not a professional.

This is just a few from those from my list.

However, above all else, I believe that a professional must be respectful. He must be respectful. He must be willing to act. He must be willing to go the extra mile.

Even if he has not thing to do, a professional should always be ready and prepare for what is to come. He doesn't need to have work to have work to do. A professional makes the lives of others easier.

A professional puts other people at ease.

A professional does what has to do.

Honestly, all that I have said is the same thing. But this shows how important it really is.
