Siblings
This is what I studied in school today.
Theories on Families. Among them includes information about siblings as well.
According to Kramer (2006), the definition of siblings is this: Siblings in the presence of each other when they are 2- 4 years of age, an average, have a conflict once every 10 mins & then the conflicts go down somewhat from 5 -7 years of age.
Also, the birth order of the siblings are proven to affect developmental of personality in children.
First borns are proven to be more adult oriented, helpful, conforming and self centrolled. They excel better in academic and professional endeavors. However, they do have more guilt, anxiety and have dificulty in coping with stressful situations.
I can't say this is exactly the truth from my knowledge, but the Kramer's idea of sibling is pretty awesome. I can say that that one is probably true.
Probably.
Once I receive more information about the personality development of youngest child and other stuff, I'll update.
Later...
