If someone said, "The means is only as evil as the intention.", that would probably mean that the action is not what determines if something is wrong. It's the reason behind the action that determines if it is wrong.

Of course, this would definitely be cross referenced with things like murder, which is an internationally recognised action that is morally wrong.

So, others would say. What if I killed someone to protect another person? Would that be considered evil?

Some would say yes.
Some would say no.

And a little others, would say that it totally depends on what you think is morally wrong.

Is murdering wrong to you?

It should be fine if I'm killing to protect the citizens of my country right?
