Curry
Among all the dishes that I've seen/eaten, curry seems like one of the best dishes ever.
Curry is a really common dish (at least in Singapore). It's spicy, rich and has this distinctive and fragrance taste that makes it different from everything else. But even though it is curry, there are so many types of it around the world.
There's the Chinese kind of curry, which is more fragrant and spicy.
There's the Indian style, which is spicy as hell.
There's the Japanese curry, which actually tastes sweet.
They're all different, but they all taste the same. Sort of the same at least, otherwise how do we identify them as curry, right?
It's interesting how the same thing can be different in so many ways. Kind of like religion, people and martial arts.
