The Fall of Single Feather...
Human Rights
are bullshit.
The rights of human is something like trying to be fair to everyone. It's impossible. To quote a line that I've heard, "Being fair is not treating everyone equally, but giving everyone what they need."
And what everyone needs is different.
Hence Human Rights should be different. For everyone.
In a 1st World Country, basic rights like shelter, food and water are meaningless. These are things that citizens of the country would be given or can obtain even without a list like this.
But they do have other needs. The right to be given the opportunity to work for what they want. Doesn't that sound like something which should strive for on their own? Completing their own dreams?
Human Rights are bullshit.
The only right a human should ever have is the right to have what they are entitled to. This could be from inheritance, from choice, from seniors, from love or from the results of hard labour.
The right to be treated equally is something that people over the years of history have strived to obtained. It is their right to be given what they wanted when they suceeded.
Having human rights is to have a chance to work for what we wish.
