The Fall of Single Feather...

I first

Started blogging back when I was in Primary School. It used to be the in thing then. My sister and brother in law were doing it and so I thought that I want to do it too.

Hence I did.

I blogged about the things that happened in my everyday life, as if people would want to know about it. It was alarmingly disturbing. Moreover, I was into Naruto then, and hence the site name. Pretty lame.

As I went into secondary school, I started to want people to read about my blog. We started to link each other, post things on each other's tagboard. It was the only reason I actually visited my own blog too. Weird.

Still, after being spammed by unknown sources it was removed.

Subsequently, my blog posts became more about ideas that I needed to get out of my system. A place where I can pin my own thoughts. By then, blogging became less popular, but I found that I didn't really care. I just wanted to write something. It became a routine. It became relaxing.

When I read my old blog posts, it felt disturbing gay, disgusting, funny and learning.

Micro-blogging is really popular now. People saying things that no one really care about for all to see. Businesses and celebrities use it as a way to market and publicise themselves to the international public.

So I wonder, what are the main reasons for having a blog?

Amusement? Business? Fame? Popularity? Or maybe a silent hope that someone who cares is actually reading it. Someone that maybe feels actually what we feel.(But honestly, just talk to someone about it.)

I wonder.

But I do know that if this thing still exists 10 years from now, when I read this damn post, I'll be pretty disgusted with myself.

Hahaha.
